Urban Streets – Custom Street Maps of Canada

Urban Streets Maps, also known as Street Maps, is one of the three map styles a user can choose from for their custom map in MapSherpa. Urban Streets Maps are styled to emphasize urban environment features including distinct street styles, labeling, city landmarks, land use, and other features primarily found in town or city settings.

When to use a Street Map

For activities such as running or cycling, our urban street map may be a better starting point for your custom map.  The map layer integrates a variety of urban information along with fully labeled streets, traffic direction, and key city landmarks.  This information is highly scale dependent so may not be visible at the scale you have selected. By trying different zoom scales you can create the map with the right level of detail for your purpose.

By combining your own content with MapSherpa’s Urban Street maps you can easily lay out and design a planned route and take your custom map with you.
